Why did I create Le Sofa Sexologique?
I wanted to create a space free of judgement and pressure. A cocoon of discussion between you and me, to help you take stock of your life. At your own pace.
Introspection and self-discovery are becoming valued by more and more people. Which is in my eyes a wonderful social transformation.
Many of you are seeking change and I find that inspiring. Congratulations!

As for my team, I select my colleagues based on their character and their extensive experience in psychosocial intervention.
We are all responsive and sensitive to the nuances of your everyday life experience.
We understand the range of emotions that can run through your heart and mind.
It is therefore important for our team to lend you an ear and offer personalized advice to help you achieve your goals.
As for me, I focus on the management of the practice, my monthly columns on Radio-Canada (CBC), my conferences in universities and non-profit organizations, podcasting, as well as the training I provide for the federal government.

No, we don’t have all the answers. On the contrary, we become your impartial but sympathetic eye who proposes several hypotheses that you are free to accept or not.
The sessions are for you. The Sexological Sofa becomes your moment to step back and reflect on yourself.
To expose an intimate part of yourself to a stranger is proof of courage. It is important to choose a professional who you feel confident in.
The bond you will create with your counsellor will greatly influence the process you are undertaking.

The Sofa Sexologique is not a well-being assembly line factory. We do not advocate an “industrial” approach.
We work with a limited number of people per week to make sure we give you the time and space you deserve. Our philosophy? Quality, not quantity.
Our team is small and we will stay that way to keep the feel more personal and intimate.
During our sessions, we will talk with each other. No monologue on our part, nothing monotonous, nothing robotic…
You are talking to real human beings, not just professionals who apply a series of pre-defined techniques and phrases.
